Organizing a TEDx Conference and Giving a TED Talk
Organizing and leading a TEDx conference at my school was an incredible experience. I arranged photographers and videographers, invited guest speakers, and helped students prepare and present their own talks. I also gave my own TED Talk.
From this experience, I realized that elementary and middle schoolers don't really have access to learning public speaking because it's not in their curriculum, which gave me the idea to create the Public Speaking Initiative for younger students.
