Exploring game theory, AI, and pricing fairness with a business professor at UNC Charlotte.
May 31, 2026
I had the opportunity to meet with a business professor at UNC Charlotte to learn more about her research. By the end of our conversation, I had learned so much about game theory, supply chain management, economics, and the different ways businesses make decisions.
We talked about the growing role of artificial intelligence in business, and how people respond when they know AI is involved in a decision. That conversation led us to a potential research project I'm excited to work on: examining how knowing that a pricing offer was generated by AI affects a retailer's perception of fairness and their willingness to cooperate with a manufacturer.
